A note from the Principal
Welcome to the home of the Beavers. We take pride in the
fact that Beaverton High School offers comprehensive college prep and vocational
experiences for all of our students. Our faculty consists of 32 teachers,
three paraprofessionals, two counselors, three secretaries and one principal.
These dedicated persons serve almost 600 students in grades 9-12. In addition
to traditional high school classes, our students have opportunities to
attend the shared-time program at Mid Michigan Community College to receive
vocational training. We also have many students who dual enroll at MMCC,
Delta College and Central Michigan University.
Our athletic teams are second to none. As a member of the
Jack Pine Conference, our athletes compete in football, basketball, track
and field, cross country, volleyball, baseball, softball and wrestling.
In addition to athletic extracurricular opportunities, our
students participate in Business Professionals of America, FCCLA, 4-H,
Student Government, Spanish Club, Quiz Bowl and other non-athletic organizations.
Our award winning Band program continues to bring in recognition
to our school and community. We have scored the highest marks a band can
get at regional and state band competitions for several years running.
Please feel free to contact our school at (989) 246-3010
if our friendly staff can be of any assistance.
