STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
BEAVERTON MIDDLE SCHOOL

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE (pause while people ready themselves to begin the pledge)
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
1. Sarah Brown and Brandi Borchardt are signed up to lead the pledge tomorrow.
2. We have a sign up sheet in the office for 7th and 8th grade girls interested in participating in track this spring.
3. Sign up in the office for boys track. Practice begins Monday, March 22. Remember you must have a physical on file in the office before you can begin practice.
4. 4-6 student council will meet Thursday at noon in Mrs. Rise’s room. This meeting is for all members including alternates. 5th and 6th graders should bring their lunches.
5. 8th grade Anger Management Group will meet Mrs. Pihlaja in the science lab next to Mrs. Jenkins’ room 3rd hour.
6. Mr. Wagner’s 4th hour support students, some of Mrs. Jenkins’ 4th hour science students, and any 7th grader who was absent on Friday, will take the MiPhy survey with Mr. Wagner and Mrs. Evans in the computer lab 4th hour. You will be called to the lab when they are ready.
7. The BMS Spirit Club is hosting a Community Night tonight from 6-8pm here at the Middle School. Please come, bring your families and learn about some of the amazing people we have living right here in our own community.
8. Congratulations Head to Head Team for defeating Gladwin 600 – 581 last evening. Also, thank you for the blue ribbon performance of cleaning up after yourselves after the meet. Regionals is here next Tuesday. We will let qualifiers know as quickly as we can. Lastly, don’t forget to continue practicing for the assembly next week.
9. Please get your candy bars sold and the money turned in ASAP. Today in homeroom you will be receiving a postcard booklet and information sheet. If you complete at least 7 of the cards using the rules listed on the information sheet you will receive your choice of either a LIL’KINZ PET OR A SKINIT certificate. Please return the postcard booklets to the office by Monday, March 22.
10. Girls’ track practice starts tonight after school. Meet Mrs. Phillips in the gym after school
