I grew up down the road in Sanford where I attended Meridian Public Schools. I graduated high school in 1998 and then went to Saginaw Valley State University for two years. I later transfered to Central Michigan University where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education. At Central I majored in physical education and minored in industrial education earning Cum Laude honors. During my undergraduate years I gained several experiences in teaching. I was hired at the beginning of the 2nd semester of the 2004-05 school year to teach in the Industrial Technology Department. The classes I teach are Introduction to woods, wood technology I, wood technology II, , drafting, and Auto CAD. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy camping, boating, fitness, and athletics. I also enjoy coaching and have done so in past years coaching youth baseball and high school basketball. |
