The menu to the left provides the most updated information on course descriptions for the upcoming 2010-2011 school year. All information contained within is subject to change. Please proceed to the necessary page(s).
COURSE REQUESTS for 2010-2011
In an effort to “go green” and use technology BHS is implementing a new method for course registration for the upcoming school year. Directions for filling out your Course Requests are listed below and can also be found at www.brs.cgresd.net, “high school”, “counseling center”. Paper copies of the information will be available in limited quantities in the Counseling Center. ** If you are uncertain about your course selections please feel free to make an appointment in the Counseling Office.
DIRECTIONS
1. Go to the Graduation Requirements/4 year plans tab (on the left) to see the Michigan Merit Curriculum requirements and sample schedule plans.
2. Then go to the Course Selections tab and Descriptions of All (General Information, Art, Business.....) to see detailed descriptions of courses currently slated to be offered at BHS.
3. Start by going over the General Information section. This section contains very important information on many aspects of your high school life at BHS.
4. Next, under Course Selections go to Course Registration Sheets (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th) and print off the appropriate sheet.
5. Update your EDP at www.careercruising.com to match your request. Having an updated EDP is crucial for things such as Co-op, CTE and dual enrollment. Without the EDP there are many course options that will not be available. More specific instructions for EDP updates are listed on the attached page.
6. Turn in request sheet and Print friendly version of EDP (both signed by student and parent) by posted deadline.
