News from the Counseling Office
Current Dual enrolled juniors--Course registration for the Fall semester will start on April 20th. See Mr. Phillips that week if you are planning on enrolling for fall courses.
Sophomores and juniors interested in dual enrollment for next year who have not take a dual enrolled course before need to see Mr. Phillips in the Counseling Office ASAP to start the process. Registration for courses for the fall begins April 20th. If you wait until the end of the school year you won't find much offered. Remember these are college courses.
NEW!!! Seniors interested in a career in the construction industry? ABC Construction Academy-Saginaw Chapter, is offering two scholarships. call (989) 832-8879 for details. The application is due April 16.
SENIORS-- Local Scholarships are due by April 1st or 9th. See. Mr. Phillips.
STUDENT EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS (EDPS)-- Students/Parents—Keep in mind that your EDP on www.careercruising.com just be updated regularly (four year plan, careers of interest, etc.). Programs such as Co-op and CTE now require and EDP in order to be considered for enrollment. Colleges are also now starting to request student EDPs.

JUNIORS interested in Co-oping at Dow Chemical next year
Dow is accepting applications for co-op positions for the 2010-2011 school year. Please note that Dow only accepts applications and resumes through our website, so it is essential that students apply through the links below. Students can start applying today. The application process will take approximately an hour.The posting will be open for 30 days (Deadline to Apply: April 3rd, 2010). Once the job postings have closed, we will select students for interviews during the weeks of April 5th and 12th .
