Welcome to my home page. Beaverton Middle School is a great place to be and I am priviledged to be its principal. 2006-07 is my 27th year in education. I started my career in Cortez, Colorado teaching English and enjoying the mountains. Houston, Texas was next on my educational stops where I spent one year teaching junior high school reading. I returned to Michigan in 1985 and spent four more years teaching high school English courses. My first administrative position was in Grant, Michigan as high school assistant principal/athletic director. From there, I moved to West Branch where I spent eight years as middle school assistant principal (two years) and principal (six years). Prior to becoming the middle school principal at BMS in January of 2007, I spent 5 1/2 years as the principal of Beaverton High School.
