Sept. 12th, 2005 - Quiz on Mugshots/Current Events -  Students will take quiz and grade it in class.  Then they will write down today's mugshot sentence and it will be corrected in class.  After students are finished with that, then they will play current events... class will be divided into 2 teams and will play until the rest of the hour.

Sept. 13th, 2005 - We will start reading John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" and students will be given a sheet to complete a business card of John Steinbeck and will also do a character trait sheet for Chapter 1.  Students will pick on character and find 8 character traits for him/her.

Sept. 14th, 2005 - Students will be given Chapter 1 and 2 vocabulary sheets to fill out and will also create a crossword puzzle off of those sheets.  They will also be assigned to read chapter 2 in class. 

Sept. 15th, 2005 - Students will be given time in class to finish their vocabulary sheets and crossword puzzle.  We will read Chapter 3 outloud as a class and discuss what's happening in the story.  Chapter 2 vocabulary sheets passed out and a summary of chapter 2 will be written and turned into me.  Must be at least 2 paragraphs and 3-5 sentences per paragraph.  Chapter 3 vocabulary will be passed out and time permitting, students will be able to do it in class.

Sept. 16th, 2005 - Students will be given the number of points possible and how many they have earned to figure out their grade.  This is incorporating math skills into the English II class.  Students will be given the chance to finish up their chapter 3 vocab. and then we will play current events.
