Sept. 19th, 2005 -   Vocabulary Quiz #1; Students will be given chapter 3 vocabulary words to define.  Then we will read Chapter 3 (Of Mice and Men) in class, discuss;    

Sept. 20th, 2005 -  Students will come in an write down the mugshot sentence and we will correct as a class; Pick up with Chapter 3 - read and do definitions for chapter 3... 

Sept. 21st, 2005 -  students will come in to class and write down the "mugshot sentence" on the board and fix the errors.   Mugshot quiz;  We will then discuss the corrections and they will correct them on their paper.  We will then read and discuss 4; 

Sept. 22nd, 2005 - Silently read chapter 5 and chapter 6;  they will also be given chapter 5 and 6 definitions to look up and define.

Sept. 23rd, 2005 - Finish reading chapter 6;  Students willl then be given a writing assignment in which they will have to re-write the last chapter of the book the way they would like to see it end.  They must keep in mind the storyline that has already been established and the time period that the story takes place in.We will start watching the movie 'Of Mice and Men'.
