My grading policy is fairly simple it is a straight percentage. If participation is necessary I give that a point value and your student will get a grade. Make up work is counted 10% less then if it were on time, so it is possible to turn something in late and still get an A. (I.E. 100% but turned in late is 90%. An A- but still and A.)

Here is my grading scale:

100 – 93         A

93 – 90           A-

89 – 87           B+

86– 83            B

82– 80            B-

79 – 77           C+

76 – 73           C

72– 70            C-

69 – 67           D+

66 – 63           D

62 – 60           D-

59 – 0             E
