I was born in Sebewaing, Michigan, where I lived for twenty-three years. I graduated from Unionville-Sebewaing Area High School in 1990 and Saginaw Valley State University in 1995 with a major in Secondary Education Mathematics and a minor in English. I taught for four years at Arenac Eastern High School in Twining, Michigan, before being hired by Beaverton Rural Schools in 1999. During my time at Beaverton I have taught General Math, Life Math, MEAP Math, Algebra 1 & 2, and Geometry. I enjoy the small town atmosphere that Beaveron provides. It reminds me a lot of my home town. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy scrapbooking, reading scrapbook magazines and books, camping, playing in my church's handbell choir, and spending time with my family. |
