I am a graduate of Breckenridge High School.  I have lived in the Central Michigan area all of my life. I received my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University (CMU) in 1993. While attending college, I worked part-time in CMU's Financial Aid Office and continued to work there after I earned my earned my degree. I had always thought about teaching and decided to begin working toward my teacher certification at CMU. Since I enjoyed my business classes, I decided to major in business education and to minor in mathematics. My student teaching took place at St. Louis High School and I received my teaching certification in May 1997. My most recent educational accomplishment took place in August 2004 when I received a Masters in Business Education from CMU.

I began teaching at Beaverton High School in August 1997. I have taught several classes during that time. Currently my classes are Business Information and Technology I (BIT I) and Business Management.
