BHS Ski and Snowboard Club
The BHS ski club is an extracurricular club that meets every Thursday after school during the months of January and February. We take the school bus to Caberfae Peaks Resort west of Cadillac where we ski and snowboard from approximately 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The third Thursday in February is our "all day" trip to Nubs Nob. The students really look forward to this trip and must attend at least 3 other trips to be eligible. The club has been in existence for at least 12 years and has had 4 advisors from the BHS teaching staff. A special thanks goes to Mr. Bob Fruchey for his dedication over the years for helping and transporting students and equipment to Caberfae and Nubs Nob. A big thank you also goes to Mrs. Cathy Oberloier who has been a great help over the past few years.
