You can have many calendars on your web page, each for whatever purpose, like these:
- lesson plans, tests, classroom events
- sports calendars
- district wide events
To install the calendar, do the following:
- download_this file (evcal.zip) and save it someplace on your computer (desktop, floppy, whatever)
- log in to your administration section
- click on "add-ons" and then on "modules"
- Under "install module", use the "browse" button and find your copy of evcal.zip
- click "install"
There you have it.__Now to make a calendar, go to your "pages" section and under "type", select "Event Calendar".__That's it!__Once you add this new calendar page, it is very easy to figure out how to add & remove events.
